VILLA GREPPI ANNUAL ART RESIDENCY 2019
Annual Artistic Residence at Villa Greppi 2019 with the project Quarantotto, a cycle of 12 canvases made with a special building paint capable of lowering air pollution and dedicated to Villa Greppi and its spaces: each canvas measures 200 cm. x 200 cm. for a total of 6 subjects, 1 canvas per month, 48 m2.
Study visits, meetings with teachers and visitors were organised in the Atelier during the whole year, and on the occasion of the initiatives in the Villa - such as Musicamorfosi - the Atelier hosted concerts by renewed musicians like Gabriele Boggio Ferraris, Passepartout Duo, Yves Theiler and Diego Petrella.
During the artistic residency Vera Pravda collaborated with Giulio Picchi - another artist in residence - and together they created #PollenArtProject, a project of artistic diffusion inspired by the life cycles of plants.
